Since 2015, Red Hot Chili Peppers Experience has been bringing the unmistakable energy and sound of one of the world’s greatest alternative funk rock bands to life.
What began on the pub circuit, has grown into a nationwide journey, with performances at major music venues and summer festivals that draw thousands of fans. Our passion for the music has even taken us overseas, rocking crowds at rugby stadiums in Bahrain and Dubai.
With every show, we aim to capture the essence of the Chili’s legendary live performances, creating an unforgettable experience for fans old and new.
The band consists of vocalist Matty Smith as Anthony Kiedis, guitarist Jordan Hallett as John Frusciante, bassist Werner de Jong as Flea, and drummer Rick Nash as Chad Smith. We are all huge fans of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, providing an accurate replication of the band’s unique sound and performance.
A founding member of Red Hot Chili Peppers Experience, Matty has evolved into a captivating frontman and vocalist. His dynamic presence isn't limited to our band; he’s also lent his talents to projects like The Sinners Lounge and not one, but two Rolling Stones tributes. With a voice and energy reminiscent of Anthony Kiedis ‐ minus the moustache and the less-than-half-his-age girlfriend ‐ Matty embodies the spirit of a true performer.
Based in Fleet, Hampshire, Matty’s adventurous streak extends far beyond the stage. From motorbikes and freerunning to martial arts and weightlifting, he’s a man who thrives on action and adrenaline. This fearless approach to life fuels his on-stage charisma, making him a frontman both admired and unstoppable.
Always ready with a smile and unmatched passion, Matty brings relentless energy and powerful vocals to every performance. When he’s out front, you can count on him to get the crowd on their feet, immersed in the music and loving every moment.

Hailing from Shakespeare’s Stratford-upon-Avon, Jordan joined Red Hot Chili Peppers Experience in September 2015, stepping into the guitarist role with a clear mission: to elevate the band to new heights.
A true aficionado of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Jordan’s deep knowledge of their back catalogue rivals that of Hillel Slovak, John Frusciante, Dave Navarro, and Josh Klinghoffer combined. His impressive musical pedigree is also showcased in his work with San Raquel, where his talents shine just as brightly.
Jordan’s exceptional guitar skills and attention to detail have transformed the band’s sound, bringing us closer than ever to the essence of the original band. Beyond electric and acoustic guitar, he masterfully recreates the iconic backing vocals of John Frusciante, adding an authentic layer to our performances.
With Jordan at the helm, the band’s sound reaches new levels of precision and passion, capturing the true spirit of the Chili Peppers.
Of Dutch heritage and a proud co-founder of Red Hot Chili Peppers Experience, Werner is based in Wallingford, Oxfordshire. Few things bring him more joy than stepping on stage with one of his cherished bass guitars, channeling the spirit of his biggest influence ‐ Flea.
Known for his powerful playing style (and occasionally being asked to turn down his volume), Werner captures the essence of Flea’s energy and tone. His arsenal of instruments includes the iconic Music Man StingRay, reminiscent of Flea’s Blood Sugar Sex Magik era, alongside Fender Jazz Plus, Warwick Streamer LX Jazzman, Yamaha TRBX305 5 String, and Yamaha RBX270J bass guitars. He uses Ernie Ball Regular Slinky strings and plays through a Gallien Krueger backline (1001RB-ii head, Neo212 and 115RBH cabs) ‐ closely mirroring Flea’s signature setup.
Werner’s musical journey began at age six with classical piano and electronic organ. After a break, he pivoted to rock, first on electric guitar and then discovering his true calling with the bass. His transition was swift, and he hasn’t looked back since.
With Werner’s passion and skill driving the low end, the band’s sound is grounded in authenticity and raw energy ‐ just as it should be.

Based in Bicester, Oxfordshire, Rick joined Red Hot Chili Peppers Experience in late 2016, stepping into the drummer’s seat with seamless precision. Rick has become the band’s dependable, rock-solid backbone, perfectly capturing Chad Smith’s signature grooves with meticulous attention to detail.
A highly skilled professional drummer and dedicated drum teacher, Rick’s versatility sets him apart. Effortlessly switching between styles like jazz, reggae, funk, and rock, he brings a dynamic energy to every performance.
Outside the band, Rick is a sought-after performer, playing with several well-known groups in and around Oxfordshire, including The Mighty Redox, Phyal, Charms Against the Evil Eye, Torn Like Colours, and Fork Boy.
Rick’s rhythm anchors the band, driving the sound with precision, energy, and unmistakable passion.
